Off-season Swing Rebuild

Here are my top flaws I’m working on this off-season:

  1. too much swaying - fix/drill: one legged swings to force me to swing around body more
  2. casting the club on downswing - fix/drill: don’t know yet
  3. bobbing my head up and down - fix/drill: shorter back swing preventing forcing the club to parallel
  4. unhinging my wrists too early on downswing - fix/drill: one legged swings to make the arms work more

The smaller items I need to work on are listed below. The tough part is that I don’t know if some of the small issues should be worked on first that will address my “top flaws”. I will try to get a lesson too.

  1. losing spine angle by standing up through swing
  2. hitting fat wedge shots
  3. blocking the ball right/not releasing club at impact
  4. bad course management
  5. not playing within myself

Ok, that’s plenty to work on this winter!
